However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibility:
1. Designing, developing, and testing desktop applications with .Net framework C#.
2. Implement new components into the tool and the UI (windows forms). React +
3. Write SQL stored procedures, queries, views, and functions to get date from Database.
4. Test, validate and prepare final installation packages.
5. Create documentation for end users and developers to understand the development concept.
6. Participate in the definition of the software architecture and write clean code.
7. Find critical and non-critical bugs inside the application once bugs are reported.
8. Occasional travel between factories, support the project as necessary < 25%
9. Maintain business logic rules and create strategies to quick turns around as necessary until the new major release hits production.
10. Provide technical help on product to the users and Technology Center development Team.
11. Collaborate between TC, factory, and design team for successful implementation of new design system.

Background Information
1. Minimum 4 years of experience developing in C#, .Net Framework and/or .Net Core.
2. Background dealing with Back End development with SQL.
3. Experience with MS Entity Framework 6.0.
4. Programming skills in Object Oriented programming such as C#, C++, Java or similar.
5. Experience using version control system like git or subversion.
6. Experience designing UI/UX using windows forms or WPF.
7. Experience with Web/Cloud applications is a plus
