In this role you will lead a functional work team within General Accounting focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of 9 employees, with various roles and responsibilities.
- Support your team of focused on creating, standardizing, maintaining, and optimizing processes within area of responsibility.
- Fully managing human resource planning, selection and development of team members.
- Ensuring support for timely and accurate financial and business reporting (weekly/monthly).
- Ensuring consistent use of the internal control system within area of responsibility. Working closely with Control owners to develop and improve controls and processes.
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting of the General Accounting Key Performance Indicators.
- Implementing a strategic roadmap and operational plan set by Finance Delivery Manager - General Accounting.

Your background
- As successful candidate you have several of years previous people management experience
- Previous experience in accounting or finance
- We highly value your personality in this role. We see that you are a driven, positive, humble, and communicative person with excellent influencing skills
- Ability to lead and motivate team members fostering positive and productive work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English
