Field Service Engineer - Data Center

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact

• Deliver exceptional service, both remotely and on-site, across various categories including installation, maintenance, and advanced services.
• Install transformer hardware, sensors, and accessories.
• Ensure physical communication connectivity, configuration, testing, and validation.
• Integrate and test transformer software, including license initialization and firmware upgrades.
• Serve as the onsite point of contact for customers and subcontractors during project execution.
• Assign tasks strategically to minimize costs and project duration.
• Test SEL relays using Omicron relay test sets or equivalent.
• Utilize industrial communication protocols like Modbus and BACnet.

• Associate Degree with 3 years of professional experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of professional experience.
• Physical fitness for duty.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in data center fieldwork is a plus.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 85%.
