We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Factory Supply Chain Specialist to join our team and support the Factory SCM Manager in implementing and maintaining effective supply chain strategies and processes.

Role: Factory Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Łódź

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring material availability, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.

You will help manage assigned spend categories with a focus on short- and medium-term sourcing strategies that align with our goals for total cost of ownership, quality, and supply reliability.

As a central point of contact for our suppliers, you will collaborate closely with internal teams across design, sales, production, quality, services, and operational purchasing. Your efforts will be instrumental in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and identifying cost-effective, reliable supply solutions.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Manage local direct spend in line with SCM strategies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and Category Managers to drive cost optimization and savings initiatives.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers in coordination with Quality and Engineering teams.
  • Negotiate and renew supplier agreements, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Support cost reduction and risk mitigation projects across the supply chain.
  • Analyze cost variances (tender vs. actual), identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to tender processes, including material costing and specific negotiations.
  • Assist with ERP data management, reporting, and local SCM activities (e.g., R&D, NPI, DTV).

Your background:

  • A degree in Engineering or relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Logistics
  • Proficiency in MS tools and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S4HANA
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
