Join our team in the R&D department for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) as a (Senior) Engineer High Voltage Switchgear 80-100% (f/m/d)
You will act as the technical conscience of our GIS product portfolio by being responsible for our product master data.

Your responsibilities
- Managing of small development projects
- Responsibility for products from our GIS portfolio
- Elaboration of innovative product solutions following standards, design rules, guidelines, and internal processes.
- Ensure quality of suppliers, production locations and parts
- Collaborate with globally distributed partners e.g. R&D Centers, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Lines, Sales.
- Analyze and solve interdisciplinary problems in test laboratories and in production lines.
Your background
- Mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, physicist or closely related fields with at minimum a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with at least two years of experience in a related field
- Apprenticeship as a designer is a plus
- High voltage switchgear experience is desirable but not a must
- Ability to work well in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and globally distributed team.
- Creative, independent and solution-oriented approach
- Software skills or open to acquiring them (MS Office, 3D CAD, ERP, ...)
- Good knowledge of English and German
