Digital Transformation CPQ IT Project Manager
Preferred location: Krakow (office), Lodz (remote)
As a CPQ IT Project Manager, you apply deep expertise in project leadership, stakeholder engagement to drive the successful deployment of Configure-Price-Quote solutions. You lead initiatives across the full project life cycle from scope definition and planning through execution, testing, and go-live, ensuring alignment with business goals and quality standards. Your role bridges technical coordination, change management, and continuous improvement, enabling seamless integration of CPQ systems into enterprise environments.
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead end-to-end CPQ deployment projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery.
- Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee all phases using Hitachi Energy's IT Gate Model, from initiation to post-go-live support.
- Ensure quality through rigorous testing and validation oversight.
- Serve as the main contact for project communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive adoption of CPQ solutions via change management and user training.
- Coordinate product rules and pricing workflows with engineering and product teams.
- Collaborate on technical integrations with SAP, PLM, and other enterprise systems.
- Promote continuous improvement and stay current with CPQ and manufacturing trends.
Your background
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of the technical aspects of software development and enterprise system integrations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, with a demonstrable history of successfully leading large-scale software deployment projects.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the implementation and management of CPQ solutions (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Camos CPQ, or in-house developed systems).
- Proven experience working in a global manufacturing or industrial engineering company is highly desirable.
- Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
