To strengthen our Grid Automation Software Factory team, we are looking for a DevOps / Configuration Management Engineer who is willing to grow in a big, international environment with special focus on Continuous Delivery Toolchain and automation. How you'll make an impact

  • Build, develop and maintain the Continuous Delivery toolchain, to achieve reliable and stable releases
  • Develop and document the continuous deployment build and release process
  • Interact with various global product teams to meet their specific needs
  • Automate repetitive tasks by scripting and development of software tools.
  • Troubleshoot build and release issues, administrate servers on a daily basis
  • Help implement process and tools improvements
  • Develop and extend dashboard solutions
  • Build, package and deploy software product applications on internal test systems.
  • Help implement process and tools improvements related to configuration management.
  • Share your experience and skills with other team members.
  • Our tech stack and tools include: Ansible, ESX, oVirt, Docker, Podman, Python, Linux, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, RPM, Java, C++, C#, React, TypeScript

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from university in computer science, information science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps / SW configuration management or SW Release Engineering.
  • Open minded, willing to learn and develop software engineering skills.
  • Proficiency in server administration and automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Ansible is a plus.
  • Proficiency in administration of Linux systems (scripts in Bash, RPM, Systemd, RHEL, security hardening is a plus).
  • Hands on knowledge in following areas:
    • Git version control system,
    • Build management - Jenkins , Azure DevOps , MSBuild, CMake
    • Knowledge of supporting SW development tools (Linting, Static Code Analysis, CI, testing, DevSecOps),
  • General knowledge about build system technology and software engineering.
  • Excellent communication in English to exchange ideas.
  • Experience in working in a globally distributed team is a plus.
