Contract Manager and support our Transformer Business, India. With analytical, hands-on and autonomous approach, you contribute to the successful performance of Contract Management. You are a reliable partner, when it comes to the preparation of contracts, contract administration and project execution. How you'll make an impact
- Own & maintain a repository of all the documents which are treated as part & parcel of the project contract.
- Study the contract documents at length, identify HE's obligations and apprise the project management team adequately.
- Map the obligations in accordance with dates/periodicity/intervals in alignment with the project management team.
- Remind the Team about the upcoming contractual obligations in advance, assess the preparedness and provide feedback to the management in case of difficulty.
- Review HE's performance of contractual milestones and provide feedback to the management.
- Review the invoicing and payment process. Provide feedback to management in case of any issue/deduction.
- Support the team in pursuing/defending any dispute/difference/claims (including change orders) which may be encountered during execution of the contract.
- Advise the business on queries related to transactional risks and contractual issues.
- Stake holder management and alignment with key personnel.

Your Background
- Degree in law.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as legal counsel or contract manager with exposure in large value projects (e.g. power, oil & gas, industrial, infrastructure etc.).
- Proven track record & extensive experience in contract management functions and processes in project execution.
- Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners preferred.
- Solid experience in contract negotiation, change management, claim management and contract-related legal issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding tendering stage and/or project execution
- Flexibility and adaptability according to specific requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment, result oriented approach, proactivity and open mind.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
