How You'll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver high-value energy studies.
- Build and refine power system models for simulation and analysis.
- Conduct technical research and apply advanced analytics.
- Create compelling reports and presentations for clients.
- Engage directly with customers to solve complex grid challenges.
- Provide expert advice on transmission planning and system reliability.
- Explore emerging technologies like AI/ML and energy storage.
- Drive continuous improvement in consulting processes and tools.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power/Energy Systems and 3 years of experience, or Master's with 1 year, or PhD.
- Skilled in power system simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, MATLAB, DSATools).
- Familiar with programming, AI/ML, and power system analysis.
- Experience in transmission planning, load flow, stability, and fault studies.
- Exposure to renewables, EV charging, and energy storage systems.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
