We are actively seeking a highly motivated Business Financial Controller for our Grid Automation Unit in Norway. We can offer you an interesting and challenging role in an international, dynamic, and positive working environment. The job location is in Oslo, Norway.
As a local Business Controller you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend most appropriate business solutions. You direct and control financial report's quality and accuracy, ensuring that the practices of the business comply with company policies, external regulations and generally accepted accounting principles.

- Responsible for monthly deliverables, including closings, forecast and covering full financial package and related tasks to ensure reliable financial data reporting according to defined timelines
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business managers within and outside the organization to support operational decision-making
- Closely monitor relevant KPI to push for effectiveness of cost structure and productivity.
- Perform quality checks on financial reporting data, including analytical review of major fluctuations and FX impact.
- Make sure we are compliant with company and country standards, regulations, IFRS accounting standards guidelines and internal controls. Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosure.
- Provide ad-hoc related financial analysis and participate to relevant financial and transformation initiatives
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar
- 2-5 years working experience in area of finance and business controlling, preferably from a similar industry.
- Excellent accounting and analytical skills are essential.
- Very good command Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, is required as you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with various people.
- Strong MS Office skills and solid knowledge of ERP (SAP / S4) systems
- Genuine team player that seeks and enjoys collaboration with peers and partners.
- Orientation on goal, proactive approach and problem-solving attitude.
