The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing digital solutions to improve efficiency and quality across its manufacturing units. These cloud-based solutions are transforming operations, and the Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical execution. This is a techno-functional role that involves close collaboration with stakeholders, process optimization, and solution validation. The role offers exposure to global teams, cutting-edge manufacturing systems, and opportunities to lead workshops and training sessions.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
- Validate designs to ensure alignment with business requirements and future state goals.
- Identify areas for process optimization and recommend improvements.
- Lead workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams.
- Develop testing procedures, define quality metrics, and oversee test execution.
- Monitor and manage quality assurance processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare and share reports on progress, metrics, and defect status.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Business Administration or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a Business Analyst role within the manufacturing domain.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution deployment, and end-user engagement.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience in developing solutions for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Strong leadership and communication skills in a complex, international environment.
- Knowledge of testing procedures, types, and automation tools.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
