We are hiring a Team Leader BESS, based in Jumet Belgium, who will coordinate engineering activities for team members and support sales activities at the technical requirements level from the market. The Team Lead instructs the engineering team on designing special battery energy storage and inverter products specific to country requirements from specifications provided by OEMs, End Customers, and the Demand Sales Team.

• You will instruct the creation, or review of article specification drawings ensuring that modifications, upgrades, and engineering changes are in accordance with standards.
• You will be responsible for following up on customer complaints and using CCRP for all entries.
• Interfacing with customers at various levels to understand the detailed work requirements and to update the customer as appropriate.
• You will have active interactions with the sales team about customers' needs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coordinating with the engineering team and securing the work which is implemented within agreed budget targets, and that any potential extra work or cost changes are flagged to the customer project manager.
• Generating clear, concise, and accurate documentation in a timely manner for all activities ensuring safe working practices are followed.
• Actively looking for and reporting on new opportunities for Customers and Hitachi Energy.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or MBA.
• You have knowledge in BESS applications and market evolution Ideally, experience in other products and systems such as drives, motors, and electrification products.
• You have experience in 3D models CREO and AutoCAD mechanical design of control panels.
• Advantageous to have knowledge of capacitors and harmonic filters.
• You have knowledge of, or experience in, SAP ERP system and creation and updates of bill of material.
• You have hands-on experience in control systems upgrades, modifications, and support for both supplier offices and customer sites.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in French or German or Spanish is a plus.
