Mission Statement:
The Associate Cloud Ops Administrator supports the availability and functionality of Hitachi Energy's enterprise software applications. Key responsibilities include assisting with service operations, documentation, and compliance with change management procedures. This role requires basic experience in cloud operations, systems administration, and technical service delivery. Strong communication skills are needed to coordinate with clients, internal users, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will understand ITIL practices, public cloud platforms, and application architectures. Training or certification in ITIL Foundations is preferred. The Associate Cloud Ops Administrator will work closely with the Cloud Ops Admin team to align activities with Hitachi Energy's cloud services strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop cloud operations skills while supporting mission-critical business applications.

Responsibilities:
- Support cloud platforms and applications to meet client SLAs and management priorities.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and management of in-house application in the cloud.
- Gain hands-on experience in issue troubleshooting, log analysis, and debugging.
- Develop skills in identifying root causes and resolving complex problems with the App Admin.
- Professionally own and manage incidents and service requests.
- Escalate issues appropriately to senior admins or management.
- Document changes, issues, and resolutions thoroughly.
- Develop skills in scripting and automation for monitoring and management.
- Monitor application logs and events to detect potential issues.
- Assist with tuning applications and infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve application reliability and uptime.
- Monitoring systems for potential post-patch problems
- Manage company's own software internal and external releases by generating, applying, and documenting patches.
- Confirming patch installation and functionality post-release.
- Providing user support during and after deployments
- Escalating concerns or anomalies appropriately
- Coordinating with stakeholders per communication plans
- Learning release management best practices
- Developing skills in balanced feature enhancements vs stability.

Requirement:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer engineering, IT or equivalent as Educational Qualification.
- 1 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge of ITIL frameworks and technical service delivery
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration
- Understanding of IIS with PHP CGI installation, configuration, and management.
- Knowledge of Windows services, event viewer and Microsoft PowerShell
- Basic knowledge of T-SQL, MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL administration
- Understanding of application architectures and distributed systems
- Statistical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and scrum framework
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
