The AA leads the development of the SAP template, ensuring harmonized, standardized processes aligned to the archetype. It represents the SAP CoE in architecture governance, resolves solution conflicts, and aligns SAP with the broader enterprise ecosystem and future capability needs. The AA maintains architecture artefacts, supports requirements and process design, and drives cross-functional integration. Across the SAP CoE, AAs collaborate to harmonize solutions and maximize business value.

- L1 and L2 capability map within SAP CoE and aligned outside
- SAP delivered archetype specific capabilities and their cross functional interactions

- In addition, the AA develops an Archetype Architecture based on the AL given business vision on the archetype. He works closely with the EA group around P&A and BST to align the SAP and non-SAP architecture to define a L1/L2/L3 capability mapping with the wider group starting with L1.
- Collaborate with Archetype SPOCs/requestors to explain the standard SAP/template functionalities related to the requirements provided in the new user stories.
- Identify and promote reusable patterns in the existing A to Z process to optimize functionality and efficiency across business units.
- Propose management activities, considering stakeholders impact is assessed and addressed according to the required system changes.
- Govern and monitor if delivered user stories fulfil business requirements.
- Develop capabilities supporting process harmonizations that drive business values and synergies within and across the archetypes.
- Collaborate with other AAs within the CoE to align standardized processes and solution designs.
- Align the design and technical aspects of solutions affecting the Archetype with the Product Owners and SA from the corresponding E2E streams.
- Escalate in case of disagreement on solutioning approach or in case of conflict with the Archetype architecture principles or objectives.
- Represent the SAP CoE and the Archetype in the wider Enterprise Architecture governance group. Know how the HE enterprise architects (BST and P&A) and their processes. Interact with them to achieve the best overall architecture for HE.
