Data influences all of the decisions we make at Tinder. As an Analytics Engineer, you will have the opportunity to add to critical analytics infrastructure used to derive insights and serve multiple parts of the organization! We're looking for someone who is passionate about answering timely business questions through data and empowering colleagues to fully engage with data. Analytics Engineering is a team within the larger Data Engineering org that works closely with Analytics, Product, Marketing, and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
- Empower others in the organization by building and supporting self-serve tools for data exploration and analysis
- Enable Analysts and others to curate data for their own projects
- Build and maintain data pipelines that enrich the data lake and data warehouse and drive critical business reports
- Bring the best software engineering practices to the Analytics Engineering team
- Find opportunities to bring efficiency and creativity to solving problems
- Respond to and support data requests from other teams
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3+ years building ETL pipelines
- 5+ years using Python 3.x or Poetry
- 3+ years using SQL
- 3+ years with Spark
- AWS Redshift or similar columnar database
- Experience using Airflow or other orchestration tools
- Product lifecycle experience - from gathering requirements to delivery and maintenance
Nice to have:
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- Experience with Amplitude or other self-serve analytics tools
- Experience with Data Viz Tools: Tableau, Mode
