We are looking for an entrepreneurially driven Sr. iOS Engineer to help us build the next “big thing” for Match Group. This is a chance to make a real impact on how millions of people connect and form meaningful relationships across the world.
Some things you’ll do:
- Work in our Dallas office as a part of our R&D team
- Implement entire product features from the networking and model layers all the way to the UI layout and animations
- Collaborate with our product, design, web and backend teams
- Impact and influence the product directly. The best ideas – from any source – are welcome

Some skills you’ll need:
- 3 to 5 years of iOS development experience
- Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native iOS apps
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with Xcode Instruments, LLVM
- Deep understanding of common iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Viper, MVC, etc.)
- Deep understanding of iOS threading, GCD, and leveraging asynchronous functions to improve app performance
- Expertise in Swift, its design patterns, and knowledge of the latest language updates
- Strong ability to write testable code and experience using XCTest to verify functionality.
- Deep understanding of CoreData
- Deep understanding of SwiftUI,UIKit, animations, and transitions
- Deep understanding of application and view lifecycle
- Deep Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID, and clean architecture
- Deep Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming patterns
- Diverse general backend system knowledge of: HTTP, APIs, DBs, Micro Services
- Understanding of reactive programming patterns using Combine, RxSwift, ReactiveSwift or similar
Bonus points:
- Metal, SpriteKit and other iOS game development libraries
- Firebase, CloudKit or similar
- Ruby on Rails
- PostgreSQL
