IT Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated IT team. This role offers an opportunity for growth and development for candidates with an interest in systems administration.

So, what will you do?

  • Onboarding & Support – Setting up new hardware, software and access for new hires and walk them through the setup to ensure all access is up and running in a timely manner
  • Administer and troubleshoot user workstations, software, network and office systems
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of user workstations
  • Deploy patches and updates of operating systems and applications
  • Support remote end users by phone or chat including using remote desktop software
  • Manage software licensing
  • Input and update assets in the hardware asset management system
  • Test and implement new technologies in support of computer systems
  • Effectively challenge and develop current processes and develops novel approaches
  • Keep team documentation updated as processes change

You'll be a match for this role if you have..

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 1 year certificate in an IT related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Support experience for Windows AD, Windows and Mac OS
  • Technical documentation skills (easy to understand; FAQs)
  • Background in workstation configuration tools is required; SCCM and/or JAMF
  • General understanding of Web application environment and networking fundamentals
  • Organized, responsible, and able to effectively deal with multiple concurrent accountabilities, being able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Be self-directed and able to work with minimal guidance
  • Experience supporting remote users
  • Ability to be patient, understanding and empathetic with end users and their desktop problems
  • Share our passion for technology and be willing to learn and develop technical skills through supported training

Bonus

  • Experience with network imaging
  • G-Suite and Okta experience.
  • Scripting experience
