Software Engineer II

What's the role?

As a Software Engineer II, You have 2+ years of experience and your role includes:

• Software Development: Develop, code, test, and deploy software components. Investigate and correct software defects.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and programming languages.
• Database and Cloud Integration: Work with PostgreSQL, SQL, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Automation and Configuration: Create and maintain scripts and configurations for software releases. Develop robust automation scripts.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in agile planning and collaborate with teams to execute test matrices.
• Quality Assurance: Translate user stories into test cases, automate testing and track defects. Maintain test suites and documentation.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing workflows. Identify and address gaps in requirements and tools.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
• 2-5 Years of software development experience,
• Excellent applied skills in Scala and Spark programming, in combination with backend architectures, messaging technology, and related frameworks
• Strong and applied experience in RE ST-based web service technologies, JSON and XML, SOA, and microservices architectures
• Strong and applied database/NQSQL.
• Strong and applied AWS skills (EC2, S3, RDS,), as well as experience with virtualization tools like Docker
• Solid knowledge of programming practices, striving to write great code that is reusable, flexible, and reliable.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented, and a strong team player with an agile mindset
