Esri Server Administrator

What's the role?

You will be working on a range of projects by exploring, analysing and visualising the world’s largest spatial data store. You will be performing a critical role in supporting projects and product development in building and maintaining the underlying Esri infrastructure. HERE will provide you a full suite of Esri software as well as access to all server-side applications, which will be your main playing ground. As you will be part of a wider community of geospatial experts, you will also be expected to contribute to various events and skills transfer. In addition:

• Contribute to projects covering the full extent of the HERE data and product library.
• Build and maintain a range of server-side Esri software.
• Liaise with database and security experts to ensure secure and reliable services.
• Manage and report Esri licence usage.
• Participate in monthly Esri connections and licence renewal negotiations.
• An unlimited opportunity to explore geospatial software and platforms from the HERE Platform, the full Esri suite, QGIS, FME and all the open software you can eat.

Who are you?

You are a GIScience/Geoinformatics/Geospatial ninja, who is willing to take on the challenge of joining an agile organisation that is doing groundbreaking work in the world of Spatial Data. Moreover, you should bring a selection of the following skills:

• Bachelor or Master's degree, preferably in GIS/Computer Science.
• Exceptional skills in the administration of server-side Esri software, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Experience Builder, Dashboards and ArcGIS Notebook Server.
• The ability to effectively transfer skills to others.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Deployment in Azure and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with QGIS, FME and open source geospatial software.
• A strong understanding of data analysis and spatial data visualisation.
• Loads of curiosity and a thirst for knowledge and exploration.
• The ability to have fun while working in a team.
• Documenting and presenting your work.
• Communicating in English.
