What's the role?

 

A Business Operations Analyst identifies and solves problems within an organization by analyzing data, improving processes, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. They collaborate with various teams, monitor performance, and enable towards decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • BOA will need to gather, analyze & interpret data to identify trends, patterns & areas for improvement. Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards along with trends and findings. 
  • Create models using analytical techniques to assess current operations, forecast potential outcomes and recommend strategies for optimization
  • Utilizing tools like SQL, Excel, and other data analysis software to support their work. 
  • Effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and project updates to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Work with various teams across the organization to understand business needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on operational strategies. 
  • Continuously monitoring KPIs and other metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments. 
  • Providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive operational excellence, Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management
  • In essence, a Business Operations Analyst acts as a bridge between data and business strategy, using their analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational excellence.

Who are you?

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Operations Management etc.
  • Experience of 2-4 years in business operations role
  • Experience in utilizing AI-driven analytics platforms to interpret business data and develop actionable insights. Identifying opportunities for automation or efficiency gains using emerging AI technologies in day-to-day business operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software i.e. PowerBI, SPSS, Tableau etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of business processes and workflows.
  • Business Acumen- Understanding business processes and how different functions interact.
  • Attention to Detail- Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting
