JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for ensuring that all Inventory Control and Audit functions are performed adequately and within required timeframes. Supervises Inventory Control team members, hires new team members, conducts performance reviews, recommends wage increases, monitors attendance, and responsible for early stages of conflict resolution. Responsible for departmental budget tracking including monitoring staffing levels, overtime, and ensuring the department remains within budget guidelines. As necessary, works with staff to complete departmental workload.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As necessary, works with staff to complete departmental workload. Performs other reasonably related duties that may be assigned.
- Oversees IC functions including cycle counts, sweeps, inventory adjustments, end of the line audit, product/location set up/moves, recalls, RTVs (Return to Vendors), and product identification. Responsible for test count and month end cutoff preparation and requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Inventory Control and Audit functions are performed adequately and within required timeframes.
- Supervises Inventory Control and Audit, department team members, hires new team members, conducts performance reviews, recommends wage increases, monitors attendance, and responsible for early stages of conflict resolution.
- Oversees product moves to ensure that space is best utilized to slot product.
- Reviews space management reports.
- Responsible for ensuring inventory reports are reconciled, including variance, expired products, negative on hand, and locked cells. Ensures that detailed investigation and explanations are provided for all inventory adjustments.
- Ensures that new products are set up and existing products placed in the most appropriate locations in an efficient and timely manner. Oversees back order/sequence process and handling of production calls for location discrepancies.
- Responsible for departmental budget tracking including monitoring staffing levels, overtime, and ensuring the department remains within budget guidelines. Responsible for weekly report cards and test count and month-end cutoff preparation and requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining a complete understanding of all Inventory Control, Audit, and Drug Room functions and how these functions affect the other functions within the Distribution Center.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- General warehousing experience including inventory control and at least four years in a lead or supervisory role, or the equivalent required.
- Overall knowledge of warehousing functions with a strong understanding of the Inventory Control function. Basic PC skills required with proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets. Hands-on experience with RF is required. Experience using Cognos for data analysis preferred. Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), and analytical skills. Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
- High school diploma or the equivalent required, plus some college level courses in business or related subject area.

- Good presentation and public speaking skills

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 4 or more years of related support experience; 3 or more years of management experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
