Creative Strategy Manager (maternity cover)

The Creative Strategy team at Hearst has a renewed purpose and creativity, strategy and innovation are at the core of everything we do. The Creative Strategy team is responsible for high value media partnerships, mutually beneficial brand to brand partnerships and offer ideation support to all areas of the business as and when needed. This role is responsible in supporting the team in driving creativity throughout the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Produce best in class creative responses to high value media briefs.
  • Land a creative strategy that leads to client problem solving and long-term relationships with clients and advertisers.
  • Work with diversified services on new opportunities and re-invigorating existing diversified clients.
  • Work with editorial on select brand to brand partnerships that benefit both Hearst and client brands.
  • Drive innovation, consumer, and commercial revenue through creative responses to briefs for your dedicated vertical client industries.
  • Be a trusted creative resource for client direct and agency sales teams.
  • Pitch ideas direct to clients in tandem with Client Partner teams.
  • To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values.
  • Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations by attending (and where relevant involvement) key industry seminars and events.
  • Develop and use new and existing research to exhibit an understanding of the power of magazine, digital and social marketplaces.
  • Proactively develop custom Creative Solutions/Partnerships in line with strategy.

  • Creative media experience and expertise
  • Natural story-teller - and ability to turn a response into an engaging narrative
  • Understanding of how to execute cross platform solutions
  • Understanding of digital solutions
  • Ability to build compelling creative solution proposals answering briefs based on insight and brilliant ideas
  • Exemplary presentation and sales skills
  • Able work collaboratively with all divisions within hub and across Hearst-wide structure
  • Able work closely with content studio to realise ideas
