Sr QA Manager

Description and Requirements

The Sr QA Manager is responsible for the test delivery management for campaigns team and the manage highly complex enterprise-wide technology solutions consisting of multiple work streams and/or initiates that support Healthfirst's mission and goals. The incumbent is accountable for delivering test strategies, test data requirements and management plans, work with different teams like application development, Infrastructure, QA and others and plan in environment build, maintenance and upgrades. Provide team leadership; resource and budget management; technical, strategic and tactical oversight; prepares and presents reports and metrics; ensures that standardized methods and procedures are followed.

He/she is accountable for developing strategic roadmaps, delivering test planning and execution, in line with business objectives and priorities and provides technical insight, oversight, strategic context, direction and leadership to the teams involved."
Act as Point of contact for the strategic program to ensure that the delivery for is on track as planned. Key person for Planning, Execution and delivery End to End, facing the senior management for risks/Escalations when plans fall through the cracks. Strategist who can bring the status from Red to Green.
Develop and implement test automation roadmap across multiple teams & programs.
Work closely with the DevOps Enablement team in defining and implementing Continuous Testing for applications
Foster a culture to provide a reliable & repeatable QA process across various teams and programs
Work closely with vendors in ensuring proper high quality delivery meeting documented SLA's
Form cross-functional partnerships and work closely with developers and product owners to pro-actively identify defects"

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience leading medium to large quality assurance team
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in creating test automation solutions for healthcare solutions
• Experience in developing test plans, test cases, strategies and QA metrics in support of test execution.
• Quality first mindset with a strong background and experience with developing products for a global audience at scale.
• Strong ability to drive changes at a large scale, proactive thinker.
• Excellent analytical thinking, Customer oriented mindset, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong ability to influence both IT and key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in health insurance industry

Hiring Range:

• Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $138,900 - $212,500
• All Other Locations (within approved locations): $118,100 - $180,710

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
