GXO is currently on the look-out for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our site in Birmingham Airport and continue to deliver our high standards with our high performing teams. This role would suit someone from either a logistics background or from a security function.
This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working 5 days from 7, either 2am-10am or 4am-12pm.
Successful candidates will need to be security cleared & DBS check

What you'll do on a typical day:
- You will lead your team and coordinate activities that will achieve business goals, whilst promoting a team-based culture
- The Supervisor role co-ordinates activity to ensure delivery schedules are achieved and quality controls activity to ensure compliance as well as managing the resources to achieve maximum operational efficiency
- You will be aware of any hazards, incidents or accidents and report them to the proper
- Receiving goods into the centre, loading and unloading of conveyor belts leading to and from the x-ray machines, operating the x-ray machines to set standards, decanting goods from pallets and cages
authority to ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience working in a leadership role, ideally within a warehouse environment or security function
- People management and line management experience
- A solid at least 5 year employment history
