Logistics at full potential

Have you always been handy with numbers? Do you keep an overview and do you ensure that there are no errors in the reports you have checked? Do you have recently completed education in Controlling, Accountancy, Business Economics or Business Administration? Then read on, because we are looking for a full-time Site Controller for our newest site in Bergen op Zoom!

What you do on a typical day as Site Controller

  • Prepare, check and analyze the weekly figures
  • Forecast of (monthly) results
  • Manage, analyze and maintain operational data as input for the weekly figures and invoicing
  • Translate the information needs from management and business into structural management information
  • Prepare various analytical reports
  • Independently perform the full month-end closing (journal entries & analyses) for multiple P&Ls
  • Carry out preliminary work for the budget process
  • Prepare of sales invoices for services performed

What you need to succeed at GXO
  • No previous experience needed, Bachelor level education in the finance field is enough. For example:Controlling, accountancy, business economics or business administration
  • You live in driving distance of Bergen op Zoom
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong communication skills and accuracy
  • Analytical thinking and being able to make connections between the different departments
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience in a logistics/industrial working environment is a plus, but not a must
