Management Accountant

Are you an Accountant looking for the next step in your career? Are you accustomed to working closely with operational teams to produce reports and commercial KPI's? Do you enjoy engaging in customer meetings to help identify commercial efficiencies?

We are currently on the search for a Management Accountant for our 2 sites in Dublin (D24 and D11). You will produce weekly and period reporting, forecasting, and budgeting exercises.This data then to shape and influence operational direction with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis working Monday - Friday, business hours however, we do require a level of flexibility, especially around the month end - this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

We are looking to offer a salary from €55,000 to €65,000 and 25-days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you will do on a typical day:
  • Produce accurate and timely weekly accounts, and analyse any variances
  • Support site-based projects teams for generation of savings increasing operational performance, reforecast and budget preparation for annual company's budgets
  • Reconcile month end, balance sheets, revenue reconciliations in line with company standards
  • Provide management and leadership for finance assistants based on site

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally with exposure to an open book contract environment
  • Experienced in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings
  • Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ideally fully CIMA or ACCA qualified, or actively studying towards
