We're looking for a HR Manager to exceed our clients' expectations by implementing the HR structure, process, and procedures across our forever expanding site based in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for you to make a role your own and help to create a positive culture across the site whilst embedding the GXO Culture across the site.

This is predominantly a Monday - Friday role working office hours, however being a managerial role, we do ask for a level of flexibility.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day as a HR Manager:
  • Work closely with Site Manager and team to deliver & implement HR project plans
  • Build and drive the site HR People plan to support an overall business plan, developing employee relations agenda
  • Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated
  • Ensuring that processes are in place for talent identification, succession planning and coaching for leaders and high-potential colleagues

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Have solid employment law knowledge
  • Adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels
  • Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
