HR Graduate Programme

Northampton, United Kingdom

If you're looking for an ordinary HR Graduate Programme, ours isn't for you!

Our programme isn't just about becoming an HR generalist, it's about giving you a variety of experiences across our HR teams to ensure you're on the road to becoming an HR leader at the end of two years.

So, what's different?

Every 8 months, we'll set you up with a new placement, providing you with an opportunity to experience something exciting within the world of HR. You could be working with colleagues tuping into our business, working to maximise our colleague engagement or getting involved in shaping the HR strategy within your business unit. Of course, you'll have exposure to HR generalist work, but you'll also have the chance to really understand and grasp the foundations of HR to allow you to develop relationships with unions as well as plenty of interaction with our customers. Alongside the continuous on-the-job learning, we'll fully support your professional development in giving you the opportunity to complete your CIPD Level 5 qualification.

Don't just take our word for it, the proof is in our ex-graduates who are now leading one or multiple sites as HR Manager's, like Freya, who completed her programme last year. Freya leads the HR strategy and teams for 3 of our large grocery sites.

To ensure that you will get the maximum benefit and exposure on our programme, we ask that you're flexible and able to move around the UK every 8 months for the two-year duration. That way you'll see, hear and experience everything we can offer within our HR teams. You'll also be able to broaden your network ready for your first permanent role within our HR community.

Pay, benefits and more:

All we ask is you have a degree, related to HR, with a 2:1 or above. We'll need you to have a keen interest in HR and logistics and the drive to succeed, after all you'll be embarking on a career, not just a job. We'll offer you a starting salary of £27,000 rising to £29,000 after year one and a multitude of benefits from our comprehensive benefits platform, which include money off holidays, shopping and days out - we really look after our colleagues and as a part of our HR community you'll be doing the same!

Whats next..

So, if you're ready for your next challenge, you're flexible to work across any site around the UK over the 2-year period, drop us your CV and we'll be in touch.

We like to talk, so once we've taken a look at your CV, we'll be in touch by email to book an online video chat. Following this will be a series of online testing and an assessment centre.
