Are you looking for the next challenge in the HR sector?Based from our site in Ghlin, you will be the main point of contact for all HR, payroll related matters, supporting a site of approx 110 employees

As an HR Advisor, you work closely with HR colleagues within other GXO locations and with your colleagues from the operation. You will have a strong knowledge of Belgium labor laws and legislation, along with the ability to work with Union representatives working in unison.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. Hybrid working applies (2 days home, 3 days office)

Fluency in French and English is required for the role and basic Dutch/Flemish would be advantagious.

  • You are involved in advising, supporting, and coaching managers in the process of inflow, through, and outflow
  • You are involved in the recruitment and selection of new employees, guidance of improvement processes in the event of dysfunction, training of employees
  • Assists the managers in conducting (complex) conversations in the field of, among other things, absenteeism, functioning, and training
  • You answer questions from employees regarding the HRM policy and associated laws and regulations
  • Liaising with employees regarding payroll queries or guidance

What do you need to succeed at GXO
  • You have a completed bachelor's degree in the field of HR, or a comparable level of knowledge
  • You have work experience in a similar position, within a logistics or similar industry, where union representation is required
  • You are aware of the Belgium laws and regulations in the field of HRM
  • Have payroll knowledge, ability to offer guidance and advice
  • Fluency both orally and in writing, in French and English. Dutch/Flemish would be advantagious.
