Here at GXO, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Health & Safety Administrator to join our team based in Stowmarket, supporting our Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for all things health and safety to create a safe, supportive workplace and environment where people can thrive.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Carrying out environmental audits of noise/light/temperature levels to ensure compliance with recommended levels.
  • Completing, administering, and following up on Incident Investigations, on site.
  • Day-to-day management of QHSE administration, working closely with the Operational teams to ensure that all accidents and incidents are thoroughly investigated, and that the paperwork is compliant with current legislative
  • Liaise with site QHSE representatives to ensure the design and running of 'Road to Zero' site Health & Safety campaigns are engaging at all levels and fun
  • Advise and assist where required with all ongoing investigations into all accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the site's agreed SLA timings

What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent system and IT skills, particularly in programs such as Microsoft Office, and web-based programs.
  • Excellent administration skills with good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and logical approach.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills .
