As a Senior Application Developer, you will develop frontends, utilities, frameworks, and platforms for automating critical business processes and workflows. You will reimagine current solutions using the latest technologies and tooling, and achieve new levels of productivity, reliability, and scalability for our team. This position is perfect for someone who loves a challenge and has come from a fast-growing company.

What You’ll Do

1. Business Process Automation

· Think strategically about technology stacks for automating business workflows.

· Build robust application user interfaces with frameworks like Streamlit and React/Vue.

· Create tools, utilities, frameworks, and APIs in Python, Node, SQL.

· Collaborate with DevOps and Database Engineers on developing platforms for business process automation.

2. Coding and Programming

· Rapidly iterate on features – writing elegant, reliable, and maintainable code.

· Utilize industry best practices in coding and testing to deliver high-quality software.

· Stay updated on the latest front-end development trends and technologies.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work with DevOps engineers on integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

· Engage with engineering and clients to resolve technical issues.

· Mentor team members on web development patterns and practices.

4. Monitoring

· Proactively monitor operational telemetry to ensure quality service levels.

· Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

 

What You Have

· Proven expertise in building and maintaining production business applications.

· Expertise with Python, JavaScript, or similar high-end languages.

· Fluency with creating business UIs with React/Vue, Streamlit, Retool, or similar.

· Expertise modern full-stack development a plus.

· Expertise with Agile SDLC practices.

· Practical knowledge of cross-browser development and browser compatibility.

· Extensive knowledge of HTTP protocol interactions using REST.

· 3+ years of experience with application development in a senior or lead role.

· BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

· Meticulous, organized, proactive, critical thinker, with high-level of attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
