Senior Scrum Master

What You'll Do:

• Facilitate all ceremonies and planning events including the daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective, release planning.
• Guide the teams to help understand how to estimate features and capabilities, supporting realistic commitments.
• Collaborate with external teams to address any blocking issues, helping Scrum teams to remain focused on their goals. Represent Scrum teams at appropriate ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure a healthy backlog. Guide the teams in respecting the priorities and scope identified through the backlog.
• Challenge the team norms to improve performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity, while supporting team focus on daily, sprint and release goals.
• Mentor, motivate and drive process improvements with team members
• Help the teams manage challenges.
• Facilitate retrospectives to help identify areas of opportunity for improvement and take responsibility for identified actions.
• Guide the teams to comply with Broadridge processes and principles, consistently improving the quality and quantity of their deliverables.
• Facilitate preparation and readiness for build demos and releases, help teams prepare for such activities, including review ceremonies with stakeholders.
• Closely monitor and report on the progress of a project to all stakeholders.
• OKRs in Jira for all agile and giving visibility to executive leadership teams.
• Configure team level agile metrics reports for a set of consistently defined metrics across all 15 or so Pods.
• Management dashboard in JIRA to see agile metrics for all Pods, updated every sprint.
• Establishes and refines processes that work for the team.
• Supports and coaches the agile teams to work in an autonomous way and with a continuous improvement spirit, to identify and formalize obstacles and fix them in a sustainable way.

What You Have:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master role with strong knowledge in Agile principles and practices. Scrum master certification is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledgeable of Jira and Confluence, required. Expert knowledge, a plus.
• Capable of motivating teams to take ownership of their processes.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to interact at all levels within a global and diverse organization.
• Comfortable and composed working in a high-pressure environment to meet deadlines.
• Strong drive for results, resourceful with ability to prioritize and work independently or in groups.
• Relevant 3rd level degree or professional qualification
• Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP)Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP).
• Verbal and Written communication skills.
