Overview: 

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to spearhead our customer-facing research enablement and insights platforms, along with data products that meet global compliance standards. This role is pivotal in shaping product strategy, execution, and the development of a forward-looking product roadmap focusing on responsible AI capabilities and human-in-the-loop design. The successful candidate will ensure our customers have seamless and trusted access to Guidepoint’s proprietary transcripts library and our vast global expert network.

This position is a hybrid position based in New York City.

  • Strategy & Vision: Develop a product strategy that aligns with the company's goals and stakeholder interests, focusing on a unified customer experience, technological transition, upholding global compliance standards, and responsible AI integration. Lead and mentor a diverse team of product managers, designers, and engineers; foster a collaborative environment where innovative ideas can flourish. 
  • Roadmap Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the product team in executing the roadmap, from conception through launch and iteration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX/UI, and compliance, to deliver products that exceed customer expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. 
  • AI & Emerging Technologies: Spearhead the integration of responsible AI capabilities aligned with the firm's AI strategy, focusing on transparency, ethics, and human-in-the-loop methodologies. Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage AI and other emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities, streamline operations, and create new revenue streams. 
  • Customer Engagement & Market Insights: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and usage metrics to inform product direction and feature development. Establish customer forums for user-centric design and preview of new features. Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation. 
  • Commercialization & Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to gather insights, stay abreast of industry trends, and identify opportunities for product enhancements. Define and execute commercialization strategies to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and market share. 
  • Product Operations & Governance: Adopt and optimize product management processes, including ideation, prioritization, development, launch, and post-launch analysis. Define and track key product metrics, setting goals and holding the team accountable for outcomes. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 
  • Talent Development & Team Culture: Hire, develop, and retain top product management talent. Maintain a collaborative team culture that values diversity, inclusion, experimentation, and continuous learning. Provide coaching and mentorship to help team members grow in their careers and take on increasing levels of responsibility. 

What You Have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering); advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) preferred. 
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps for scalable SaaS platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, ethical AI practices, and human-in-the-loop design principles. 
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and motivating high-performing product teams. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making. 
  • Familiarity with OKR processes, agile development methodologies, and product management best practices. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. 
  • Experience with product monetization strategies, pricing, and packaging. 
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities, manage risk, and make tough decisions in a fast-paced environment with a track record of delivering products on time and within budget. 
  • Passion for staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in product management and the relevant industry. 
  • Knowledge of global compliance standards relevant to data privacy and security. 

What We Offer: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
