The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore's Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.

A certificate will be given to successful trainees upon completion of the programme.

Purpose:
  • To provide technical support in QC Chemistry team
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the chemistry laboratory activities to assure timely availability and accuracy of results
  • Review and approve all required chemistry testings for utilities, raw materials, manufacturing processes and products and ensure that the tests are analyzed in accordance with corporate, regulatory and external agency regulations.
  • Enforce all laboratory policies, practices, and ensure that all in-use procedures are current and compliant.
  • Maintains all safety and security policies and practices.
  • Supports equipment/software/method validation and performs (re)validation when necessary
  • Presents in timely manner major issues to the management with strategies on their resolution.
  • Organization and Management Responsibilities
  • Assists Senior QC Superintendent / QC Manager in the management and operations of the chemistry team
  • Ensures appropriate training and development of the chemistry team.
  • Provides leadership, guidance and technical expertise to the team

  • Ensures continuous improvements of the QC operations.

Skills:

Education

Science Diploma/Degree holders in Chemistry or equivalent

Technical
  • Competent technical skills in the following:
  • Hands-on experience in chemistry testings (advantage) laboratory equipment qualification method validation computer system validation
  • Knowledge of cGLP and cGMP
  • Preferably with knowledge of statistics
Business
  • Effective report writing skills Planning and Organizing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective team player
  • Leadership skills
Competencies:
  • Good knowledge on usage of computers
  • Quality performance mindset
  • Vaccines manufacturing process understanding
  • Demonstrated professional and ethical integrity
  • Fluency and proficiency in the English language
