Role Summary and Impact
Join Media Futures Group (MFG), a bespoke team within GroupM dedicated to delivering innovative media solutions for Google. As an Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in quantifying and measuring the success of our campaigns, developing comprehensive measurement plans, and delivering actionable insights that drive better business results. This position focuses on supporting Google's Chrome brand team, primarily working on brand-focused campaigns with potential exposure to performance media. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Bogotá, ensuring continuity and excellence in analytics delivery.
This role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with digital media platforms, and the ability to transform data into visually engaging presentations. You will also manage and mentor Senior Analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, thoroughness, and innovation.
Please note: This hybrid position requires regular in-office presence. We are only considering candidates based in the New York tri-state area, Chicago, or LA.
Responsibilities:
- Measurement Strategy: Develop and oversee robust measurement plans tailored to client audiences, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and KPIs.
- Third-Party Analytics Management: Manage measurement setup for third-party analytics partners (e.g., Beatgrid, Dynata, Social) and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Deliver actionable insights by analyzing raw data, identifying trends, and tying findings back to the original strategy. Provide thought leadership during post-campaign analyses (PCA).
- Client Collaboration: Partner with Google to understand brand objectives, shape media plans, and provide recommendations that increase measurability and likelihood of success.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with investment, planning, and other internal teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics into campaign planning and execution.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support Senior Analysts, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their work.
- Process Optimization: Identify gaps in data processes, propose solutions, and improve efficiency through validation and QA practices.
- Campaign Reporting: Manage in-flight reporting, pre-campaign measurement plans, and post-campaign analyses, presenting findings in a clear and engaging manner.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Looker, and Google Docs to deliver high-quality outputs. Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, R, Python) is a plus but not required.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; OR equivalent professional work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics or a data-driven role, preferably within a media agency environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Looker and Google Docs is highly preferred.
- Experience with digital media platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.) and social media measurement methodologies (e.g., brand lift studies).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from raw data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a process-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to present data in a visually engaging and insightful manner.
- Established communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver impactful presentations.
- Curiosity and a passion for uncovering insights and driving measurable outcomes.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
