Position: Quality Analyst.
Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Summary:
- Final goods analysis for sauces & dressings, dry blends. Develop new methodologies to reduce analysis/new products. Manage KPI for QC Lab, lead optimization projects. Involvef in New product implementation and specifications definition for it. Manage and control of the budget and expenses control for QC department. Manage RZ compliance checks including checks programted and new checks for new products and new checks.
Major duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing quality test for final goods and interpret the results to release or reject the product analyzed.
- Adminitration for Rot Cause Analysis for OOS and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage customer compliants related to OOS reports.
- Develop and optimize analiqtichal techniques to improve time and cost for Quality.
- Inspect process for new product implementations.
- Develop and update specifications for new products.
- Lead traceability investigations on the source of quality lapses and other product issues.
- Perform Statistical analysis for key products and annual review.
- Manage and control of the budget and expenses control for QC department.
- Program RZ compliance for new products and new checks defined
- Manage RedZone compliance checks complete in time and shape, validate the checks every hour in RZ, identify the warnings and fails and send message to the operators to verify and retest the checks.
- Admnistrate shelf life extentions for customer requeriments and define the time that the shelf life can be extended accodring the sample tested.
- Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance quality and consistency.
- Establish SOPs and conditions for handling, storage and preservation of samples.
- Investigate technical faults and practices that impact laboratory equipment operations.
- Oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) implementation and documentations with other departments.
- Verify alignment of sampling documentation, testing activities and procedures with established protocols to identify issues.
- Verify quality control (QC) records, test results and reports for regulatory authorities.
- Establish, update and develop SOP's to maintain the QMS.
- Verify and validate production procedures for new products.
- Validation of cleaning process for production areas and direct contact equipments.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Sciences, chemical.
- 3 years of experience.
- Intermediate level of English (fluency when interacting on calls with international colleagues).
- Experiencie handling analytical equipment: potentiometer, titrators and laboratory equipment.
- Experience in analytical techniques (water activity measurement, brix degrees, density, etc.).
- Experience in ERP quality module management (DAX, SAP, BPIX).
