Position: Application Chef
1) Purpose of the Position
• Execute strategic customer plan and activities aligned with Griffith Foods Purpose Driven Strategy and Long Term and Operating plan.
• Plan and execute innovative product applications which help the Food service in increasing sales for India business
2) Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Support local sales and business development initiatives.
• Serve as Culinary expert and advisor to Food service segments such Cloud Kitchen, Hotels & restaurants & Regional QSRs.
• Plan and execute innovative product applications which help the Food service in increasing sales.
• Coach, train and support sales staff to achieve optimal performance.
• Manage all data and provide concise reports on results and status.
• Is responsible to handle product trouble shooting customer interface.
• Evaluating the new products and provide feedback.
• Generate new Applications/product ideas which will help in increasing sales.
• Handling of customer complaints and product trouble shooting.
• Recipe Development, Chef Cuisine- Indian, Continental, Pan-Asian.
• Application of Recipe.
3) Scope:
• Develop innovative recipes using product developed by R&D department for
customer trial.
• Develop annual PAGs and achievement of reviews in the timeline required by the organization.
4) Problem Solving/Decision Making:
• Development of new and innovative recipes. Development and execution of plans to meet customer business needs due to internal challenges or changing market conditions.
• Management of customer needs and communications internally and extenally impacting the customers.
5) Working Relationships:
Internal
• Reports to Regional Sales Manager- South and West India and dotted line reporting to Regional Director Culinary- IMEA
• Geographic coverage - Karnataka
• Work Location - Bangalore
• Strong relationship required with other BD functions (R&D, Sales, Marketing) .
• Frequent contact with R&D and Marketing.
External
• Top to top relationships with customers, suppliers
• Represents company at industry events as appropriate.
6) Qualification and Experience:
• Hotel Management Degree with experience hotels, Restaurants, B2B food solution companies
• 4 years & above experience in operations, product development& handling kitchen production operations.
• Creative, good training skills, excellent communication skills.
• Should enjoy travelling
