Responsible for the timely and accurate review of customer sales tax exemption certificates. Work directly with customers or internal business partners to remediate any missing information required.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review customer exemption certificates for completeness and accuracy.
- Work with customers or internal partners to remediate any certificate deficiency.
- Apply appropriate exemption to customer account.
- Continuous learner who routinely shares experiences, best practices and information with team members to improve collective knowledge
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or related field - or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience in Finance, legal or customer service.
- Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with team members, internal partners and external partners in a professional manner in person, via e-mail and phone.
- Open to development feedback and takes responsibility for personal development.
- Proficient communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrates proficient attention to detail, and accuracy and thoroughness in work.
- Take initiative/motivator that demonstrates proficient work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a adaptable business environment and handling a high volume of emails.
