Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus 2 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Complete and maintain Supply Chain Mapping Tool which involves a continuous pipeline of fetching millions of records through API, storing it on AWS S3, cleaning data, creating tables in SQL database through stored procedures and then visualizing sale patterns on Tableau dashboards; Manage and update code base for Supply Chain Mapping Tool using C# and Python; Support and maintain cloud and on-prem servers running Linux OS by performing system updates, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure operational stability; Provide remote technical support to customers by troubleshooting issues with servers running Red Hat, SUSE, and HPUX operating systems to resolve problems and ensure system reliability. Up to 60% remote work allowed.
Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $85,363.00 to $142,200.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
