Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Management Consulting, or Finance.
  • Experience with annual sales planning processes, territory management, and quota development.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or other relevant technical advanced degree.
  • Knowledge of the GeoLocation/Mapping market and Cloud technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving/technical skills (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.).
  • Excellent strategic thinking and effective communication skills.

The Google Cloud Sales Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors to the Sales Organization, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and the Professional Sales Organization to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

As the Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key strategic priorities for the Geo Enterprise business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Google Maps Sales leadership to develop the organization's strategy, goals and operational plan in close collaboration with Product, Solutions, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance teams.
  • Develop impactful insights and recommendations to drive incremental growth for the business.
  • Improve operations by launching new programs, streamlining processes, automating tasks, identifying opportunities across the business and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Deliver a cohesive business performance narrative for leadership communications via synthesis of multiple sources of data and information.
