Staff Software Engineer, Wireless Connectivity, Google Pixel

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Software Architecture.
  • Experience in C, C++.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in developing Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Linux kernel subsystems and drivers, and debugging.
  • Experience in software development with Python, Java, or Rust.
  • Understanding of embedded software (e.g., Embedded Linux) and hardware architectures.
  • Understanding of modern wireless connectivity technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to collaborate effectively with multiple teams/stakeholders to launch features.

  • Scope, plan, and oversee the execution of engineering projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Propose long-term strategy for wireless feature performance, power, and stability improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for wireless related features.
