Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience writing high-quality Java or Go code.
- Experience or familiarity with SQL Server ecosystem API Design, Database Management, and Cloud Computing.
- Ability to produce clean, well thought out designs.
- Background in RDBMS management and Infrastructure as a Service.
- Background in Large-Scale Distributed Systems.

Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in designing and building services for a durable, secure, highly-available managed SQL Server database service.
- Work from technical specifications to independently develop, modify, test, and release Google Cloud SQL - SQL Server roadmap features.
- Develop bug fixes and resolve customer escalations to improve operation efficiency and reliability.
- Partner and collaborate with related engineering teams, product management, and program management to ensure the development of high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
- Be involved in design/code reviews, architecture discussions, and infrastructure reviews.
