Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates will typically have 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- Typically 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Candidates will typically have 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience in big data and/or large-scale data pipeline.
- Experience with code reviews, project scoping, planning and prioritization, mentoring, and communicating within the team and with other Google teams.

Responsibilities
- Build a low-latency pipeline to detect clients regressions.
- Engage various cross-team collaborations within an organization of engineers to define the way logs/metrics should be exported, processed, and consumed.
- Enable automated release/experiment gating (CAS, Mendel-Autoramp, RastaMon Policy Servers).
- Build, evolve, and maintain innovative infrastructures to process data in large-scale.
Improve freshness of the our gating metrics using experimental streaming SQLP and SLOs that track user experience (Instrumentation, ProductSLx).
