Software Engineer, Search Experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++ programming language, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, and A/B testing.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of tech leads to deliver high quality code to improve our Search products.
  • Add features, tests, and new modules, analyze and fix bugs, improve performance and conduct experiments in a complex code base and across Search systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where there are cross-team collaborations, open-ended issues, and rapidly changing technology.
