Software Engineer, Pixel Experiences

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in software development with Java or Kotlin.
  
• Experience with data structures or algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Android development processes.
  
• Strong communication skills and an appetite to collaborate across team boundaries.
  
• Ability to ramp up and learn quickly in a technically complex domain.

Responsibilities

• Leverage new technologies to innovate and build new experiences for Pixel devices.
  
• Develop Software solutions for Android Platform/Pixel phone including the design and implementation of Android services and applications.
  
• Manage feature development life cycle, development, integration/porting, testing, debugging, and optimization for user experiences on Pixel devices.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional people (Product Managers and User Experience Designers/Researchers) to define/scope product features.
