Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience collaborating with various teams such as developers, test engineers, and product management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience applying AI/ML in automation or data analytics use cases.
  • Experience developing infrastructure and tools to streamline and scale operational workflow.
  • Experience developing back-end services or full-stack applications.
  • Ability to navigate technical and product issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data platform features to support test quality metrics and performance related analyticsuse cases.
  • Leverage Machine Learning techniques to scale test automation and improve test effectiveness.
  • Support and build engineering tests of a broad set of Pixel features.
  • Work with developers, test teams, and other teams in identifying issues with production quality and coverage, and providing solutions for improvement through development, test practices, and processes.
  • Design and develop platform and application features used by developers, test engineers, and management teams to streamline the test automation in security, privacy, stability areas across teams, and Product Areas.
