Senior Hardware Validation Engineer, Pixel Watch

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in consumer electronics, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in a lab-based environment, prototype bring-up, debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support.
  • Experience in test script development using Python.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in hardware validation and test, reading schematics, and creating hardware validation test plans.
  • Experience in prototyping, bring-up, debugging, verification, and manufacturing support for electrical systems.
  • Experience using lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, data analyzers, probe high speed, and differential signals).

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.     Responsibilities

    • Create, maintain, and drive hardware validation test plans for Fitbit devices.
    • Analyze system architecture and schematics to optimize test plans to ensure full coverage.
    • Collaborate with the design team to drive and finalize specifications.
    • Leverage remote Contract Manufacturers (CM) for test execution and reproduce critical issues in the lab locally by a direct approach.
    • Conduct peer reviews with research, hardware, manufacturing, and other applicable cross-functional teams to present data and provide insight through analysis.
