Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microwave Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience designing RF hardware for wireless consumer communication devices, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with RF board-level design, bring-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using RF equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal generators, power meters, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in RF system and board-level design.

  • Experience using communication test boxes (e.g., CMW, CMX, or UXM).

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Design and perform testing/validation for Pixel mobile devices radio platform, covering radio technologies (e.g., 5G NR, LTE, 2G, and 3G).
    • Maintain responsibility for radio frequency (RF) sub system design in a RF platform that will be used for Pixel mobile devices.
    • Work with component vendors and partners to design RF front-end modules, filters, and critical components.
    • Manage Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design for optimal RF performance.
    • Travel domestically and internationally up to 15% as needed.
