The Precision Calibration Protocol team's responsibility is to develop and test advanced gate and pulse calibration methods, based on physics principles and good understanding of our hardware.

Microwave crosstalk is a major obstacle to fault-tolerant quantum computation with superconducting qubits. One way to manage it is by applying a compensation pulse on the victim qubit. However, crosstalks are mediated by complex mechanisms, resulting in very different pulse forms from the original ones. The focus of this job is to develop methods for measuring crosstalk transfer functions and use them to compensate for crosstalks, including building the required infrastructures.
