Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management, identifying process improvements, and orienting teams to Agile methodologies and Agile software development.
  • Experience in communication, project execution, and working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in program management in a global organization with cross-functional specialized teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships to facilitate effective collaboration, information gathering, and strategic decision making.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Customer Engagement (CE) organization builds an impactful suite of products that include Google Support, Google Help, and the end-to-end customer lifecycle for Google Ads. Within CE, Support Platform is an ecosystem of consumer and enterprise products all geared towards understanding Google's customers' issues and providing effective, efficient, and excellent resolutions. You will understand customer needs, and push the organization to deliver the best experiences through innovation, technology, and self-empowerment.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We're made up of multiple teams, building Google's Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Drive critical programs in close partnership with Product, Engineering, UX, and Global Business teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage timelines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the organization.
  • Drive process improvements throughout product development lifecycle, to help scale impact for our users/clients.
  • Inspire product teams to innovate, invent, implement, and deploy solutions.
